Nicki Minaj Had A Trash Year, Says Joe Budden & Charlamagne
According to Joe Budden and Charlamagne Tha God, Nicki Minaj’s 2017 was “trash.” The Breakfast Club radio personality and podcast personality (who was recently axed from digital show Everyday Struggle) created a list of folks that had a “trash” 2017 (via REVOLT) and Minaj landed in their top 3. Budden says about Minaj’s 2017:
She has exhibited a lot of trash this year and I’m not talking about music.
Charla interjected, explaining why he believed Minaj deserves to be on the list stating,
I’ve never seen – I can’t remember the last time I saw a superstar of Nicki’s caliber, put out three records at the same time, by the way, the No Frauds had the iHeart Radio stimulus package – you’re gonna play it every hour, on the hour, on every urban station, throughout the country. She may have even been on some of the pop stations.
He continued,
She had Wayne and Drake on the record, that record didn’t go, bruh. She had another record with Wayne on it, that record didn’t go at all and then she had a third record – I don’t even know what the f*ck happened to that sh*t.

I love Kim and Nicki, but you are definitely right about all of them having some flops and making some bad/poor decisions. I wish Kim would quit with all of the autotune and just go back to the style that is HERS. I listened to some interview yesterday talking about Nicki asked to be on a song to compete with Cardi because the two songs they were featured on sounded similar. Honestly, I don’t think there is a comparison besides them both being rappers from NY and having a similar body shape. They all dope, if they could stay in their own lanes.
What are they talking about? How did she throw shade at Aretha? And are they judging her year based off those three songs only? Out of all of the other things she did, I would not call her year TRASH. In comparison, to other years, it may seem a little bleak. None the less, this is why she be going in!

I don’t like they way they(the media, radio personality and bloggers) just try to make “pieces of the puzzle” fit together. It’s so disrespectful and irresponsible. She is beautiful and talented, all of the women are, but they refuse to let them be.
They did not call her trash. They said she had a trash or bad year. She did. That’s not attacking her personally.
Joe Budden’s last few years of his life have been trash so he’s one to talk!
