Kandi Burruss: Kim Zolciak Isn’t Racist

Kim Zolciak is not a racist, says Kandi Burruss. The pair are far from friends on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but Kandi says that she doesn’t believe that label is appropriate for Kim.

I don’t like to throw in the whole racism argument. Kim and I, at one point, we were friends. We did hang out all the time. My daughter was friends with her kids and, you know, they hung out together and I never felt any racism going on.

During this season of RHOA, NeNe Leakes accused Kim’s daughter, Brielle Biermann, of being racist.  The 20-year-old posted a video from Leakes’ home, claiming that she discovered “cockroaches” in the bathroom. This incident sparked an Instagram feud between Kim and NeNe, who had been former friends.

Kim has denied that she’s racist stating late last year,

I’m on a show with all African-American women and I’m the only one that’s ever been on the show that’s Caucasian, so it’s the card that sometimes they play and it’s gross.
