Tyler Perry – Woman Claims She’s Married To Director: He’s raising my son.
A woman is claiming that she is not only married to Tyler Perry, but she also shares a child with him, whom he is raising. A woman, who appears on an upcoming episode of Dr. Phil, tells the talk show host,
I believe that Tyler Perry is raising my son.
When asked if she’s married to him, she responds:
I have not seen him face-to-face.
We’re not sure if she suffers from mental illness or is just seeking 10 minutes of fame. In either case, the story unfolds next month on the show. See the teaser below.
Perry, who has a two-year-old son named Aman with girlfriend Gelila Bekele, has yet to comment.

How do you believe he is raising your son? Either he is or he isn’t….or does she not know where her child is? I won’t be watching and that’s for sure!
This is why I don’t like Dr. Phil. If she does suffer from mental illness then she needs help, not to be exploited in front of a camera or possibly giving an opportunist 15 minutes of fake fame.
So True! She said she has not seen him fact to face! Maybe they will put her in a Residential Mental Facility. Tyler would even pay for it, because he is a God fearing person. I think this falls under Delusional Schizophrenia. ????????
I absolutely agree with you!! Although I am not a licensed therapist, or doctor of psychology however I do have an undergrad in psychology, and have study these types of Behavioral issues. This woman has the clear signs of delusional schizophrenia and/or bipolar disorder. I have a few family members one in particular is exactly like the lady on Dr. Phil show! My family member is often on Facebook, and makes comments about being religious and is true to her faith, etc. We as a society truly need to spend more resources in finding better ways to treat the mentally ill!

Absolutely mentally ill. when they found out that she was serious about believing she was married to him no taping should’ve been done. She is definitely delusional beyond repair. She belongs in a facility not on TV. But he had no therapists at all on there to speak with her about why she believes this. Mentally ill people say anything just like her and really no amount of talking to them will make any difference. They ‘ll say they’ve been to the moon, mars and pluto all in the same day. In their minds they really went there too. The daughters have a long road ahead with her. I really hope they can afford to get her real help because it was said that she was on her last dime from sending the scammer 100K. I think her divorce triggered this. I had a couple of friends who the wife left the husband and filed for divorce. He absolutely lost his mind. When we would talk to him he would talk about her the entire conversation. If you spoke with him on the phone he would talk and literally not stop. If you put the phone down for an hour and pick it back up he will still be talking. He started getting into fights with various people to the degree that he was sent to prison for 5 years. He never had been in any trouble with the law. He was a faithfu;lful church member and and very generous. But when she left him he hasn’t been able to keep transportation or a roof over his head. He is a contractor and worked everyday that I know him and to date (20 years later)doesn’t have a car or license. I knew both him and her 15 years prior to the breakup. and never did he live like this. He has never been the same since she left. His behavioral health is definitely unstable and I know the breakup triggered this downward spiral. Same thing as the lady above. I think it’s a coping mechanism after a chaotic event in their lives and they are unable to believe this is happening. The lady above mentally created this relationship of how she really wanted to live with the “man of her dream”s” and replaced fact with fiction. It’s like a split personality.
