Keshia Knight-Pulliam, Metta World Peace Join ‘Celebrity Big Brother’
Omarosa Manigault isn’t the only well-known celebrity returning to reality TV. 38-year-old actress Keshia Knight-Pulliam is also dabbling in the non-scripted world. She is joining the former White House staffer on Celebrity Big Brother.
Pulliam, who is known for her playing Rudy Huxtable on The Cosby Show, isn’t necessarily new to reality TV. She won a celebrity version of Fear Factor in September 2002. She also won a celebrity version of The Weakest Link, and participated in Celebrity Mole 2: Yucatan. In 2013, she was a contestant on the ABC celebrity diving show Splash. She was first to be eliminated. She was also a contestant in The Celebrity Apprentice Season 7 and was the first contestant eliminated after being the losing project manager for her team.
Metta World Peace (real name Ronald William Artest Jr.), has also been cast. Metta is a professional basketball coach and former player. He is currently the player development coach for the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League. He was known as Ron Artest before legally changing his name in September 2011.
The remaining cast includes: Ariadna Gutiérrez, Brandi Glanville, Chuck Liddell, James Maslow, Mark McGrath, Ross Mathews and Shannon Elizabeth.
Celebrity Big Brother, also known as Big Brother: Celebrity Edition, is a spin-off series of the American reality television series Big Brother. This season will air during the winter of the 2017–18 network television season on CBS and will be the second U.S. Big Brother season to air outside the usual summer television season, the first being Big Brother 9 in 2008. Julie Chen. It will premiere on Feb. 7 and will run until Feb. 25.
