Janet Jackson Is NOT Popping According to Michael Rapaport

Is Janet Jackson no longer poppin’? According to Michael Rapaport, not really. On Super Bowl Sunday, the outspoken actor chimed in on the #JanetJacksonAppreciation hashtag noting that Janet isn’t really relevant these days.

As expected, his comments sparked a bit of backlash. See the back and forth between Michael and a few Janet fans.

When you a legend, you don’t have to be current to be hot…her music is timeless, so it will always be “relevant” and poppin. Not to mention, I could’ve swore she just came off tour….WTF is he talking about?!

Just because you hang and you’re invited to all the cookouts, you need to know that pass is only temporary don’t let it expire on that !ss Dude, I haven’t seen you, since your little mailman cameo on next Friday, so instead of worrying about Janet’s relevancy you may want to focus on your own. jusin timberlake hasn’t put out any music and has been out the lime light two, he didn’t come back until mid last year so what is this little herpe lip dude talking about…he need to worry about popping that thing under his lip

Actually…he has the right to comment on anything he chooses. It’s called freedom of speech. But just like he has the right to comment, others have the right to feel what they feel, about what he said. I personally wasn’t at all offended, and understood what he was trying to say. People need to get out of their feelings all the damn time. The whole #JanetAppreciationDay was petty as hell, and intended to be just that…which was why it was done yesterday, on the day Justin performed at the Super Bowl, and not some other day. But hey…to each his/her own…lol
