Whoopi Goldberg Cast In Tyler Perry’s ‘The List’

Whoopi Goldberg has been cast in Tyler Perry’s upcoming film, The List. The Paramount drama has already cast Tiffany Haddish, Tika Sumpter, and Omari Hardwick.

Written, produced and directed by Perry, the film follows a woman (Haddish) who gets released from prison and reunited with her sister, who is forced to accept that she might be getting “catfished” by an online boyfriend.

This is Goldberg’s first studio feature since appearing in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Chris Rock’s Top Five. The List is scheduled to hit theaters November 2nd.
