Issa Rae Announces ‘Insecure’ Premiere Date
We fell in love with Issa and Lawrence in season one of Insecure. After a cheating scandal between the couple things took a turn for worst, leaving Lawrence no choice but to seek revenge. As season
two kicked off, things got even more messier between the two. We all watched the relationship fall apart and friendships being leaving us with unanswered questions, while forcing us to choose between
Team Lawrence or Team Issa.
A few weeks ago, rumors began to circulate that Lawrence (played by Jay Ellis) may not return, leaving even more questions for the upcoming season. This week, the series star and creator Issa Rae took to her IG with a few cast mates to announce the premiere date with the caption,
We heard you wanna date? My girls got you.
Insecure returns Sunday, August 12th at 10:30 PM on HBO.
