Taye Diggs’ Son Doesn’t Want Him To Have A Girlfriend

Actor, Taye Diggs, revealed in a recent interview that his son, Walker, 8, doesn’t want him to jump back into the dating game. Walker’s mother is actress Idina Menzel, Taye’s ex-wife. Taye and Indina were married for 10 years before divorcing in 2014.

He says of his son,

He is now getting more kind of candid and honest, and he said the other day that he doesn’t want me to have a girlfriend.

He continued,

He said, ‘I want you to myself,’ and then he said, ‘Is that okay to say, Dad? And I was like, ‘Yeah, man. I want you to be able to tell me anything.

Taye was asked what dating advice he would give his son, Walker, and he said,

Be polite, and don’t worry about waiting. It’s cool to wait. Don’t rush.

In other news, Diggs is starring in Set It Up, a romantic comedy film, directed by Claire Scanlon, along with Zoey Deutch, Glen Powell and Lucy Liu.

The film was released on June 15, 2018, by Netflix.
