Lil Kim – I Don’t Know Who Nicki Minaj Is

The Lil Kim vs Nicki Minaj rivalry has been bubbling since 2008. The two superstars have traded disses back and forth, and have legions of fans constantly throwing shots online. Last year, Lil Kim sided with Remy Ma during her beef with Nicki Minaj, and joined her on stage last year at Hot 97′ Summer Jam. During her performance, Remy brought out Queen Latifah, Young M.A, MC Lyte, Lil Kim, Lady of Rage, and Cardi B to perform “U.N.I.T.Y.” After the group left the stage, the Bronx rapper launched into “SHEther” while a photo of Minaj was displayed on the Summer Jam screen behind her. Kim also hopped on Remy Ma’s “Wake Me Up” single.

Earlier this month, Lil Kim, real name Kimberly Jones celebrated her daughter’s 4th birthday by having a party at Sugar Factory. Facing reports of filing bankruptcy, she had choice words for haters.

The rap icon continued,

Let me tell you something, when you are a child of God, you can’t be touched boo! It ain’t going to happen.

This week, Kim seemed to reiterate her disdain for Minaj. While on the red carpet, an interview asked her,

You are one of the OG women rappers, I grew up listening to you. What do you make of Cardi B and Nicki Minaj? 

Without a second thought, the “Crush On You” rapper responded with praise and shade.

You know, Cardi is my girl. I don’t know the other woman. Cardi is my girl and I am so excited for girl Cardi. I can’t wait for her to the have the baby. I love you Cardi!
