Cardi B Wants Red Wine At Her Baby Shower

Cardi B continues to stay busy. From promoting her debut album “Invasion Of Privacy,”performances and magazine shoots, she hasn’t had time for anything else. The Bronx born rapper (real name Belcalis Almanzar) who is expecting her first child with fiancé and fellow rapper Offset, has never had any issues expressing herself. Recently, she took to Twitter to share plans for her baby shower. She wrote,

I was planning to have 2 baby showers…One in NY had one in ATL but my doctor told me I can’t fly no more. Now I have to fly 60 people to Atlanta. I always bragged about having 2 big families until now. 

One follower replied to the tweet stating,

You and Offset got the bread sis.

The 25-year-old caught wind of the comment and responded to the followers comments regarding she and her fiancé having money.

Just cause I have money don’t mean I like spending it……Lil b***h lil b***h. 

During a recent interview, Cardi gave details on how she wants her baby shower. She explained,

I want a lit baby shower. My baby shower’s not starting at no 5:00. My s**t is going to start at 9 p.m. because that’s how I celebrate, that’s how Caribbean people celebrate. I don’t like baby showers that be at 5 p.m. in the backyard, eating, cooking hors d’oeuvres. Nah.

Cardi doesn’t want the fancy treats, she wants to stock up alcohol even for herself.

S**t, I might even drink some red wine. Red wine’s healthy, right?

However, Offset’s family who was with Cardi during the interview disagreed about her drinking while pregnant. One of his family members stated that,

Don’t let Mama see you drinking that red wine. She’s going to have a fit.

The rapper definitely wants her family and friends at her baby shower.

I’ve got to buy mad flights for my friends from New York. I haven’t even sent the invitations…I forget everything.

She first learned that she was pregnant after taking a home pregnancy test. Although the pregnancy was not planned, her fiancé was excited after she revealed the news to him over FaceTime.

He was like, ‘What? Are you sure? I said, ‘Yeah.’ And then he just started smiling really hard.

Being pregnant hasn’t slowed down Cardi one bit and from the looks over it, neither will motherhood. She is planning to take her baby on her upcoming tour, where she will be the opening act for superstar performer Bruno Mars starting in September.  The “24 K Magic Tour” will last seven weeks and kicks off in Denver. She said,

What I envision is my tour bus has my own personal room, and I just want to be with my baby. Only time I don’t have my baby with me is when I’m getting my hair done, makeup done, performing. I don’t want to miss one second. I don’t want to miss no smiles, I don’t want to miss no new movement, I don’t want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter.
