Masika Kalysha Headed To “Growing Up Hip Hop”
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports Masika Kalysha is returning to reality TV.
[Click here for the backstory]. The news was confirmed after the trailer for the latest season was released with Masika noticeably absent.
While Masika has officially left VH1, she hasn’t necessarily left reality TV. Sources tell us that she’s allegedly taking her talents to WEtv’s “Growing Up Hip Hop”. We’re told that she’s allegedly heading down south, appearing on “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta”.
To date, the Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta casts includes: Bow Wow, Zonnique Pullins, Reginae Carter (who is rumored to have quit the show), Shaniah Mauldin, Ayana Fite and Brandon Barnes.
Interestingly enough, last month Bow Wow mentioned that some of VH1’s talent was trying to leave Love & Hip Hop for Growing Up Hip Hop. [Click here for the backstory]. He stated,
Its no secret that all the VH1 Talent is reaching out to come over to #Guhhatl. Everyone wants NEW.
Growing Up Hip Hop premiered in 2016, and chronicles the lives of the children of hip hop legends. Its success has led to the creation of a spin-off Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. The series is executive produced by Datari Turner and Tara Long and is produced by Datari Turner Productions in conjunction with eOne.
