Jay Ellis Photoshops Himself Into An ‘Insecure’ Cast Photo
The Lawrence-hive is still wiping their tears over news that actor Jay Ellis will not be appearing in season three of Insecure. He clearly already misses his cast mates! He posted a photo of himself photoshopped into a picture of the cast at the “Insecure-fest” last weekend with this hilarious caption:
Heard I missed something last weekend… fixed it.

Ellis first hinted at a possible Lawrence-free season during a radio interview. He stated:
I’m a little bit out of it…They’ve been filming for the last six or seven weeks or something like that. I might get a call tomorrow and they gonna be like ‘ay can you come do this’ and I’ll be like ‘Yeah, I’ll be there’.
However, Insecure creator, executive producer and star Issa Rae confirmed that Lawrence won’t be
apart of season three of the show. She said:
We want to stay as true to life as possible. They had a great conversation at the end of season two and it was just about like, hey, she’s moving on Daniel, sometimes we have those conversations. You never see the exes again. And it’s okay! You gotta explore life without Lawrence.
Season three of Insecure premieres on HBO Sunday, August 12th.
