Big Freedia Cries After Getting Off Probation
Big Freedia is officially free! In 2016, she was found guilty of receiving Section 8 federal housing vouchers – which is illegal considering she makes too many coins to receive aid.
Her legal journey was documented on her popular reality show, “Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce.”
The bounce legend, who was visually emotional, revealed to her followers that she has officially finished her probation sentence! Freedia posted a video with this caption:
“@bigfreedia I’m officially OFF PAPERS THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME MY LOVER, MY FAMILY ,FRIENDS ,MY MANAGER ,MY ATTORNEY ,MY TEAM ,MY PROBATION OFFICER,MY JUDGE,MY FANS AND LAST BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY MY HEAVENLY FATHER FOR MAKING IT ALL POSSIBLE!! As we previously reported, Big Freedia (real name Freddie Ross, Jr.) plead guilty to Section 8 Fraud in 2016. Narrowly avoiding jail time, she was fined $35,000 in restitution fees, and ordered to 100 hours of community service.
This calls for a celebratory twerk! Would you agree?
