Nicki Minaj Says Her Relationship With Meek Mill Was ‘Toxic’, Confirms She NEVER Dated Nas

Nicki Minaj is giving details on her new boo – or boos. Minaj has hinted to her fans and social media followers she has a “new boy,” and has confessed she is enjoying being single. The “Queen” even cleared up speculation regarding her previous connections/relationships, including Nas and Meek Mill.

When it comes to Nas, Minaj has been seen out and assumed to have dated the fellow Queens native rapper for a short time. She clarified,

“I didn’t say I was with Nas. I said I chilled. I hung out with him. And he and I are still good friends.”

Following her relationship with Love & Hip-Hop star, Sarfaree Samuels, she was the girlfriend to Philadelphia rapper, Meek Mill. While discussing the rapper, she reveals that the situation was toxic.

She says,

“I was in a relationship with Meek for a while, which ended, and it was a very toxic something. But we had some good times and we ended that.”

She also clarified her friendship with Young Money veteran, Drake.

“And then, Drake? I’ve never been in a relationship with Drake.”

The details on who her “new boy” is is still vague, but she says,

“There is a new boy, but he and I have kind of fell back a little bit.”

As far as her “newer” boy, she informs he’s only “been around for a couple weeks now.”

Although, Minaj, 35, has been linked to different men in the industry for the majority of her career, she enjoys this space of freedom. She says,

“Look, I’m just chilling. I’ve always been in a relationship my whole life. I was in a relationship since I was 15 years old. This is the first time that I’m single, and I’m happier. I’m more free—and it’s okay. I used to feel like I had to have a man, I swear. My whole adult life I felt like I had to have a man. I want the women out here to know you absolutely don’t.”
