Destiny Fulfilled: Beyoncé & Letoya Luckett Reunite 

This is the Destiny’s Child reunion we’ve been waiting for. Singer/”Greenleaf” actress Letoya Luckett shared a sweet photo with her former group member, superstar singer Beyonce, backstage at the Arlington, TX stop of she and Jay Z’s “On the Run II Tour.” Dripping in a custom pearl-beaded Balmain one-piece, Beyonce is seen smiling from ear to ear, hugging and holding Letoya’s pregnant tummy.

Letoya posted the sentimental photo on Instagram with this short and sweet caption:

Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, offered Letoya and her husband congratualtions on their bundle of joy. Her caption read:

“@mstinalawson Congratulations Letoya you are gonna be the best mommy “

Yvette Noel-Schure, longtime publicist to both Beyonce and Prince, offered some insight on the precious moment. She has been in both Beyonce and Letoya’s lives since the “Writing’s on the Wall”-era – which is when Letoya’s Destiny’s Child-line-up disbanded. Yvette’s caption read:

It’s good to see that not only are Letoya and Beyonce still fans of each other, but friendly as well, after their messy break-up. Letoya gushed over her childhood friend’s Grammy performance last year.

She told Entertainment Tonight :

“She is superwoman. The fact that she’s performing pregnant with twins is just a whole other thing in itself. But, you know what? She’s a superhero. I didn’t expect anything different.”

She continued, commenting on their interactions when they run into each other. She said:

“She’s a wonderful person…when we catch up, [we ask each other], ‘How you doin’? How your momma doin’? How’s your brother doin’? Oh my god, you’re getting so big.’ It’s girl stuff. And she’s, you know, always telling me how proud she is of me. The last time we caught up, she said, “Me and mom just talked about you a couple of days ago! We’re so happy for you.’ And that warms my heart.”
