Kanye Made Kim Kardashian Part-Owner Of Yeezy Brand So She’d Turn Down Another Company’s $1M Offer
Kim Kardashian is now part owner of her husband Kanye West’s clothing line and she’s revealing how it all came about. During a recent interview, she revealed that she was offered $1 million by a clothing brand to post an ad on her Instagram page. Due to the hefty paycheck, Kim was definitely considering it, however, she says the brand is known to “knock off Yeezy.” She says,
A brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on, you know, some of their clothing. And they typically, I don’t want to say who the brand is, but they typically knock off Yeezy.
Kim says she consulted with Kanye, who was totally against it.
He was like, ‘No, babe, I really don’t want you to do that,’ It’s understandable, but that’s a lot of money!
According to Kim, a week later on Mother’s Day, she received a gift from Kanye that she was not expecting. In an envelope, Kanye had gifted her with $1 million and ownership of the Yeezy brand.
I open the envelope and it’s a million-dollar check and it was a note saying, ‘Thank you for always supporting me and not posting. And then, in the rest of the envelope, it was a contract to be an owner of Yeezy and my percentage.
Kim called Kanye the “best husband ever” after that gift. Would you have accepted the money from the other company?
