Lady GaGa Announces She’s Engaged

Actress/singer Lady GaGa has officially confirmed that she is, again, engaged to be married. The “A Star is Born” actress was recently honored at Elle Magazine’s 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration. She casually addressed her beau – talent agent, Christian Carino – while thanking her family during her acceptance speech. She said:

“I love you – everybody at table 5, my fiancé Christian, all the loved ones in my life that take care of me everyday.”

GaGa also used her honor from Elle as a platform to acknowledge the importance of women’s presence in Hollywood and sexual assault. She said:

“We women in Hollywood, we are voices. We have deep thoughts and ideas and beliefs and values about the world and we have the power to speak and be heard and fight back when we are silenced.”

Prior to Christian Carino, Lady GaGa was engaged to actor Taylor Kinney. Taylor popped the question on Valentine’s Day in 2015 before splitting in 2016. She announced their break up in an emotional Instagram post. She captioned:

“@ladygaga Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
