Michael B. Jordan To Produce And Star In ‘The Silver Bear’

Michael B. Jordan never stops working. As the world awaits Creed II’s 2018 premiere, Jordan is already on to something new.

Jordan has been tapped to star in The Silver Bear, which if all goes well, will be the beginning of a potential franchise based on the book series by Derek Haas. Jordan will also produce the film along with  Nickel City Pictures’ Vishal Rungta, Mark Fasano, and Ankur Rungta.

Derek Haas’ book series began in 2008 with The Silver Bear. It tells the story of Columbus, who will be played by Michael B. Jordan in the film. Columbus is a hit man who quickly made a name for himself as one of the best in his profession. He never fails and he seems immune to the stresses of his work. He’s so good at what he does that Russian criminals call him the silver bear. Columbus is the second book in the trilogy, followed by Dark Men, which was released in 2011 and A Dark Lie in 2015.
