Carmelo Confirms Lala Reconciliation Rumors w/ This Post

It looks like the reconciliation rumors about Carmelo and Lala Anthony are true! Over the weekend, the NBA star posted a photo of the “Power” actress gushing about her. In the image, Lala poses provocatively, wearing a white crop top, with matching white pants. Melo captioned the photo:

The post comes amidst earlier reports that they had called off their separation. In April of 2017, it was reported that the couple were prepping for a divorce, and arranging joint custody of their son Kiyan amid reports that Carmelo impregnated another woman, allegedly named Mia Burks.

Photos of the baby girl leaked, where the public claimed a strong resemblance to Carmelo.

In June of 2017, LaLa confirmed in an interview that she would not be proceeding with the divorce. She said:

Not right now, I’m not. You know marriages are tough. And you know that, we all know that. It’s filled with ups and downs and we’re just going through a time right now, but him and I are the best of friends and our number one commitment is to our son, Kiyan. We have to set an example to Kiyan and that’s what’s most important.

She continued:

I don’t know what the future holds. I just know that we’re doing an incredible job being parents to our son. We are the best of friends. I’ve been with Melo since he was 19 years old. Like, you’re not with someone for that long and it just goes out the window. I love him with all of my heart. And we are the best of friends.

Earlier this month, Lala was asked about the status of their marriage and she responded,

We’re good. I mean, we’ve been together for a really long time so we’re figuring out how to make it work for what is best for Kiyan and what is best for us.
