Lala is NOT divorcing Carmelo Anthony

Lala Anthony is flattered that Chris Rock was recently gushing about how haute she is. During a recent interview, the Power actress responded to reports that her estranged husband, Carmelo Anthony, was pissed that the comedian allegedly had his eye on her. Lala said,

By the way, I don’t think Melo knew anything about it. People just write anything, but shout out to Chris Rock – I’m glad I’m on his list (laughs).

And contrary to reports, Lala is not ready to divorce her NBA baller husband. [Earlier this year it was reported that the couple split, with Melo being accused of allegedly cheating and fathering a child outside their marriage.]

When asked if she’s divorcing him, she responds,

Not right now, I’m not. You know marriages are tough. And you know that, we all know that. It’s filled with ups and downs and we’re just going through a time right now, but him and I are the best of friends and our number one commitment is to our son, Kiyan. We have to set an example to Kiyan and that’s what’s most important.

She added,

So I would absolutely never say a bad thing about my husband. That’s my son’s father and he is an amazing dad. I could NOT ask for a better dad.

When asked if there is potential that the pair can work it out, she states,

I don’t know what the future holds. I just know that we’re doing an incredible job being parents to our son. We are the best of friends. I’ve been with Melo since he was 19 years old. Like, you’re not with someone for that long and it just goes out the window. I love him with all of my heart. And we are the best of friends.

Meanwhile, Lala is NOT dating, but is focusing on herself.

Yeah, I’m dating (laughs). I’m dating myself. I’m trying to get myself in order.
