Matt Barnes Awarded Sole Legal & Physical Custody – Gloria Govan Ordered To Take Parenting & Anger Management Classes, Regular Visitation

Matt Barnes got a major win in court on Thursday over his 10-year-old twin boys, following a very public custody battle with his ex-wife Gloria Govan. With the help of his attorney’s, Barnes has been granted sole legal and physical custody over Isaiah and Carter. In addition to the custody, he was also granted a restraining order against Govan, following their public outburst which got her arrested and accused of child endangerment the weekend before Labor Day.

Govan has been granted visitation; she will be able to have dinner with her son’s every Wednesday, along with getting them every other weekend Friday through Monday. She will also be ordered to take 26 anger management and at least 10 parenting classes.

The restraining order was granted until May 2020. Barnes is currently expecting the birth of his unborn baby boy with model Anansa Sims; in October, they held a baby shower with their family, close friends, and college friends.
