Jerry Springer Returns To TV As A Judge

Jerry Springer Returns to TV As a Judge
Does Judge Jerry have a ring to it? The Godfather of trashy television, Jerry Springer, is making a return to the silver screen, but not with a reboot of “The Jerry Springer Show.” Next fall, NBC Universal will debut the show, “Judge Jerry.” It will be a 30-minute, daily syndicated show in which Jerry will hear cases and issue a verdict.
Before you raise an eyebrow, Jerry Springer is fully capable of judging cases. Prior to his talk show, he had a career in law and politics. He even served as the mayor of Cincinnati, OH for a year. Springer dished about his new show:
“For the first time in my life, I am going to be called honorable.”
He continued:
“My career is coming full circle and I finally get to put my law degree to use after all these years.”
After 27 seasons of fights and Jerry beads, “The Jerry Springer Show” was cancelled this past summer.
