Peter has since had a change of heart. On Sunday, he posted a social media video apologizing for his remarks. He captioned the video,
We as black men should praise black women and use our voices to encourage and uplift instead of tear down and pick apart. I should have look at the woman as if she was my mother, sister, cousin and kept my negative comments off of social media. I was wrong. We all have work to do.
