Jada Pinkett Smith Joins Will Smith’s Bucket List Challenge & Goes Skydiving
Will Smith officially turned 50 years old back in September, but he decided to celebrate for a full year courtesy of a bucket list. Among the things he’s checked off his bucket list includes skydiving, but his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, made a promise that as a birthday gift, she would do it too. Well, the time has come and she had to finally go through with it.
Will Smith has a new Facebook show called Will Smith’s Bucket List, which documents a series of challenges that the actor has always wanted to do to commemorate turning 50. The first episode chronicles Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, as they go skydiving with other family members, including sons, Trey and Jaden.
Pinkett Smith previously promised her husband that she would do whatever he wanted as a birthday present—and what he wanted happened to be her jumping out of a plane. Not exactly happy about what he chooses for her to do, Pinkett Smith is still a good sport and follows through with the skydiving experience.
After she successfully skydived, Pinkett Smith talked about her experience, saying:
“I was pretty much Zen the whole time. I just had a moment right at the door, right before I was about to jump and a moment when I was freefalling, that I could’ve gone into panic, but I didn’t. So, I’ve got to realize how my work is helping me to master my mind.”
Will Smith’s Bucket List will have a total of six episodes that will air weekly at 12 p.m. ET. Future episodes will see Smith swimming with sharks, performing standup comedy, running a half marathon on limited preparation, and participating in a simulated F1 race.
