Tamar Braxton’s Estranged Ex Husband Vincent Herbert Accused Of Not Paying Rent & Bouncing Checks
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband, Vincent Herbert, since their divorce. But now he’s being accused of writing bad checks and not paying his mortgage.
Herbert is looking at not one, but two lawsuits, according to The Blast. He’s facing eviction and claims that he wrote bad checks. Reportedly, he signed a lease for one year for a condo in L.A. this past December. He allegedly agreed to pay $37,000 a month for the 3-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 3,430 sq. unit but failed to submit a payment in February. The company didn’t take long to serve him with a three-day notice that he would have to pay rent or move out.
It looks like he decided to go with the second option because now he’s being sued by NK Real Estate Investments for $38,850 plus fees. The condo is now up for sale.
At the same time, a woman, Dakota Sal, is also saying Herbert wrote her two checks for a total of $10,000 that bounced last month. Interestingly enough, the account has been closed.
Braxton hasn’t said a word about it publicly, but she did say they’re still legally married thanks to the paperwork.
“It’s the paperwork, Linda!” she said during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show earlier this week.
“And it’s L.A. And when you have a lot of things together and L.A., just period, takes forever. We haven’t been living together for two years now.”
She did say during a recent interview that the two have been able to stay amicable. Herbert sold the mansion he and Braxton shared together last year.
