NeNe Leakes Talks Husband Gregg’s Past Infidelity Amid His Cancer Battle

Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has been having a very difficult time these days as she deals with the impact of being the primary caregiver for her husband Gregg, who is currently battling colon cancer. Much of her journey has been chronicled on the hit reality series, but she admitted a revealing detail about her marriage to Gregg involving infidelity that is taking some fans by surprise.

NeNe Leakes has a brand-new YouTube channel, called The Life of NeNe, where she takes fans along in her daily life, addresses rumors, opens up about her marriage and husband Gregg’s cancer battle. In one of the most recent episodes, NeNe discusses her husband’s cancer in relation to karma for his past infidelity in their marriage. Gregg’s infidelity isn’t a surprise to RHOA viewers, who may recall that NeNe alluded to it being one of the reasons they divorced several years ago before getting remarried in 2013.

However, in this new video NeNe questions the impact of karma and if Gregg’s karma for being unfaithful to her in the past is his current cancer battle. She makes it clear that she is not hoping that’s the case or is convinced it is, she just questions it.

She stated:

“There’s a lot of things that go through your head. And people don’t know that. I want to show some love to all the caretakers because what goes through your head is — I’m just saying this for real, please don’t put this against me. I’m just saying this for real. As a caretaker, you start — it depends on where your relationship is. You look at the person and think about, you know people love to say, ‘Karma is a b**ch’ and karma this and karma that. Honest to God, I’m giving y’all the raw, raw, raw. You look at the person and be like, ‘What is that?’ Now, that ain’t right, right? But you’re human.”

NeNe continued, adding:

 “You look at the person and say, ‘You did so many different things to me. Is this the payback?’ You hope not. I’m taking about a caretaker, caretaker. ‘Maybe you’re getting it back from that time you cheated on me.’ You don’t never know. You don’t ever know. But as a caretaker, these are the thoughts that go through your head because the medication got them on a roller coaster ride, and they lash out on you. It’s a lot, it’s a lot.”

Earlier this week, NeNe addressed the rumors that she and Gregg were separated and heading for divorce. In a tweet on social media, she explained that the current episodes of RHOA were shot back in July 2018 and that she and Gregg are in a much better place these days—and are not separated or divorcing.

She has also admitted that the couple is currently in marriage counseling to work through their issues during such a difficult time.

Meanwhile, there are only two episodes left of RHOA this season before the reunion airs, which is bound to be explosive, as whatever happened there is the reason NeNe unfollowed practically all of her cast mates after filming. Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8PM on Bravo.
