Nick Cannon Reveals Plan To Continue Nipsey Hussle’s Legacy, Will Finish Late Rapper’s Documentary
Hussle passed away Sunday night after being gunned down in front of his store in L.A. Since then, Hussle’s work has become a topic of conversation as he was wrapping up a documentary on Dr. Sebi, a herbalist who died mysteriously after saying he discovered an all-natural cure for AIDS. He was on trial for practicing medicine without a license. Still, he won after representing himself and presenting his findings at trial. He later died in 2016.
There has been speculation that Hussle, who was 33, was killed in the government’s alleged attempt to prevent the cure from being discovered, in an effort to keep money in the pharmaceutical industry.
Hussle spoke several times on the documentary before his untimely and shocking passing. He said during an interview with The Breakfast Club last year that he was convinced Sebi was killed because of his work with holistic healing. See his remarks at the 26:55 mark.
He said in another interview that if his work for the documentary gets him killed, he wants the movement to continue.
Cannon has now taken up that task. He shared his condolences for Hussle’s passing and added that he was going to complete the documentary.
“And the Lord said, “Job well done my son..” @nipseyhussleKing this is how I want to remember you! Laughing! Smiling! I ain’t slept yet, thinking about our conversations! Real ones from a real one!
