As slain rapper Nipsey Hussle’s memorial service, held at L.A.’s Staples Center, quickly approaches on April 11th, some of the West Coast’s most influential hip-hop figures recently got together to pay tribute to Hussle. The Game, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre were recently seen in the studio together, previewing new music and showing love to Hussle.

Just after The Game and Snoop Dogg participated in the vigil for Nipsey Hussle where rival L.A. gangs united to form a truce, the pair, along with producer Dr. Dre, recently got together and hit the studio for an as-yet-unreleased dedication track to the rapper who was fatally killed by alleged murderer Eric Holder outside his Marathon Clothing store on March 31st.

In the video, posted on Instagram, you can see The Game, Snoop and Dre vibing in the studio to the track with a room full of others. The hashtags #Born2Rap and #LongLiveNip were also plastered across the video.
Although the trio have worked together multiple times in the past, this song, when it’s released, will likely resonate with Nipsey Hussle fans and hip-hop fans alike. They are all very prominent fixtures in West Coast hip-hop, so fans are likely excited about the collaboration to honor someone taken so tragically.
