BIG K.R.I.T. Releases Powerful Blackness Inspired Visuals For ‘Energy’
Rapper Big KRIT has released a new black inspired music video directed by Child, which features imagery that reflect K.R.I.T.’s Mississippi roots deep in the small town of Meridan. His smooth Southern flow connects those from Texas to Atlanta and is influenced by classic soul since 2005. In his latest visual for ‘Energy,’ the King Remembered in Time tells us he wanted to show more positivity in the community as the song reflects the current status of our generation.
“It’s important more than ever to show the positive energy of life. The coming together of generations and the giving of knowledge.”

The track, produced by Rico Love and Danja shares a message – a celebration as KRIT kicks back in the backseat of a classic black Cadillac slowly circling deep in the woods. KRIT says although there is negativity in the world, he wanted to bring more positive images for his latest video.
“There’s so much power in community and fellowship. I have been blessed to share positive energy with so many people thru out my career. Although negativity is everywhere we must feed our souls with the positivity around us.”
In his video, KRIT keeps it southern with Cadillac cars, gold teeth, and red durags from start to the end as KRIT made sure to add his staple of blackness in his latest visual with a twist from his southern roots.

At the end of 2018, KRIT released three back to back EPs with Trifecta being the latest one which features the Mississippi rappers ‘Energy‘ single.
