Patti Labelle Releasing Frozen Chinese Food Line
Outside of her dynamic vocals and shoe-kicking performances, Patti Labelle has been bringing fans into her kitchen for decades! With several cookbooks under her belt, and even her own cooking shows on the Cooking Channel and OWN Network, Lady Marmalade’s pie empire has expanded to Asian cuisine!
According to reports, she is partnering with restaurateur Stratis Morfogen to release a line of frozen Chinese food. They’ll be sold in Patti’s home store – Walmart! Patti and Stratis celebrated their deal with a dinner at Brooklyn Chop House. The partners snapped a selfie together, and Stratis Morfogen revealed what their line will include with this Instagram Story post:
“Patti LaBelle and I are now partners in our new Co BCH GROCERS LLC – bringing frozen dumplings such as French Onion Soup, Pastrami, Lamb Gyro & Bacon Cheeseburger Dumplings to Walmart – adding to the huge success with Walmart of Ms Patti’s record selling Sweet Potato pies.”

But the Asian creations aren’t the only things Patti Labelle is whipping up. She also recently debuted her buttermilk pie recipe at Walmart!
