Beyonce Salutes HBCUs W/ Private Event Featuring Grambling State University

It looks like Beyonce got to live out her dream as an HBCU student recently! The Flawless singer opened up about her desire to attend an HBCU when she was younger in her Netflix documentary, “Homecoming.” She said while going to an HBCU was her dream, her life in Destiny’s Child took over. After having an HBCU-themed Coachella performance last year, Beyonce is living her dream at another level.

She hosted a “Homecoming” Coachella party to represent none other than Grambling State University.

Some of the college’s dance and band members performed with her at the private party over the weekend. It didn’t take long for some to express their thoughts on social media.

The school’s dance coach also dished on her experience and shared a few photos.

The dance captain spoke on the performance.
