Soulja Boy Sentenced To 240 Days In Jail For Violating Probation

Jaillllll??? Rapper Soulja Boy (real name DeAndre Way) has reportedly been sentenced to 240 days in jail for violating his probation and 265 days of community service. The rapper was credited with 40 days for his recent stay in jail awaiting sentencing. According to reports, the judge initially considered giving him two years in prison, but decided to give him some leniency.  Soulja will start the sentence right away.

As previously reported, the 28-year-old violated his probation when police found weapons in his home after getting a search warrant following claims he kidnapped and abused a woman he was dating. His sentencing comes days after his San Fernando Valley home was burglarized. Thieves managed to make off with over $500,000 worth of jewelry and other items. Soulja’s team has yet to release a statement.
