Remy Ma Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Brittney Taylor

Remy Ma has reportedly turned herself in to authorities after being charged with misdemeanor assault. The 38-year-old rapper was arrested on Wednesday afternoon for an alleged assault against 29-year-old rapper Brittney Taylor. Both Remy and Brittney both star on Love & Hip Hop: NY.

As previously reported, the alleged incident occurred on April 16 at around 9:30 p.m. at Irving Plaza in NYC. Brittney alleges that Remy punched her in the face.

She initially made these allegations on social media.

Taylor’s attorney Sanford Rubenstein said in a statement:

“This arrest demonstrates how serious this matter is, it is real life and not reality TV entertainment. The victim Brittney Taylor has confidence in our system of justice and will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities”.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office stated about Remy Ma:

“She is awaiting arraignment for this case. We can’t provide guidance on her prior case or parole until she is arraigned. She will likely be arraigned this afternoon.”

Remy Ma’s parole ends August 1. No additional information has been released.
