Djimon Hounsou Hints He’s Prevented From Spending Time With Son He Shares With Kimora Lee Simmons: “I can’t even recall the last time I saw him!”

Is Kimora Lee Simmons preventing one of her exes from seeing their child? Her ex-boyfriend, African actor/model Djimon Hounsou, recently insinuated that she is keeping him from seeing their 10-year-old Kenzo Lee Hounsou.

Djimon was approached by reporters outside of an L.A. County building, asking how his Father’s Day went. He replied:

“It would’ve been nice to see my son for Father’s Day. It would’ve, also, been nice if I could see him to – at least – talk to him.”

When asked when was the last time he saw Kenzo, he simply held up his hand. It’s unclear whether he was referencing 5 months or weeks, or if he wanted to stop the conversation.

He, then, said:

“I can’t even recall myself.”

Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons dated from 2007 to 2012, with Kenzo born in 2009. Djimon posted a photo of he and his son on Father’s Day, but it is unclear whether or not the photo was taken that day. Prior to that, the last photo of he and Kenzo was taken in England in March of this year.

Interestingly, it could be assumed that Russell Simmons has seen Kenzo. Russell is both Kimora’s ex husband, and Kenzo’s godfather.

When returning to his car from the county building, paparazzi asked Djimon Hounsou if he planned to take Kimora to court for custody of Kenzo Lee. He said:

“There’s no custody battle. I’m not at a lawyer’s office, am I?”
