EXCLUSIVE: Kandi Burruss Prepping “Old Lady Gang” Spinoff
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Kandi Burruss is getting more TV time. And if there’s anything this boss chick can do, it’s bring home the bacon – and yams, fried chicken, and macaroni and cheese! In 2016, she and her husband, Todd Tucker, opened popular soul food restaurant – Old Lady Gang – based on the recipes of her mother, Joyce Jones; and aunts Nora and Bertha.
The business has, now, expanded to three ATL locations – Peters Street, Camp Creek, and even a mini-location in the State Farm Arena.
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports the television world will allegedly be the next Old Lady Gang location! There’s no word yet on whether or not the restaurant’s on-screen debut will be in the form of a spinoff series or special – but the show will, allegedly, feature Kandi, Todd, and their staff.
The show is destined to be a success, considering Kandi is one of the reigning queens of “Real Housewives” spinoffs. She’s had three under her belt since she first became a peach-holder in 2009: “The Kandi Factory,” which earned music industry hopefuls a chance to work with the hit songwriter; “Kandi’s Wedding,” giving the world a glimpse of her glamorous nuptials; and “Kandi’s Ski Trip,” featuring a drama-filled family vacay.
