Jada Pinkett-Smith Says She & Will Smith’s Ex Wife Have Been In A Nonsexual Throuple For Years: When Your Husband Is Taking Care Of Another Woman & Spending Time W/ Her, It’s The Same Thing

Jada Pinkett-Smith Says She & Will Smith’s Ex Wife Have Been In A Nonsexual Throuple For Years: When Your Husband Is Taking Care Of Another Woman & Spending Time W/ Her, It’s The Same Thing
When you have your husband that is taking care of another woman and spending time with another woman, it’s the same thing.”
It’s no secret Jada Pinkett Smith, her husband Will Smith and his first wife, Sheree Zampino are blended family goals for many. While Jada and Will are going strong, it’s safe to say Zampino has always been in the picture as she and Will have son, Trey Smith together. Will and Zampino were married from 1992-1995.

The parental trio has never shied away from explaining how hard it was for them to get to the healthy place they’re in today. And Jada has finally coined a term for it — a “throuple,” which Jada describes as,
“three people having a consensual romance.”
The term was the point of conversation on a recent episode of Jada’s Red Table Talk called “Unconventional Relationships.” It featured a married couple and their girlfriend. Jada said that she’s no stranger to a throuple lifestyle.
“You know what’s so interesting, though? Why it’s so not foreign to me too is that I’ve had a non-sexual throuple for years with Sheree. When you have your husband that is taking care of another woman and spending time with another woman, it’s the same thing.”
Interestingly enough, Jada said the inspiration for the episode came because her and Will’s youngest child, Willow Smith, was curious about polyamory, which was defined as being in multiple relationships with the consent of everyone involved. It was also compared to polygamy, when a man has multiple wives.
When Jada was asked if she’d be interested in being in a throuple she said,
“Hell, yeah. You know what? I could do a throuple. I could. I could probably be romantically engaged with somebody else, but I can only have sex with one person. I’m sexually monogamous, but I definitely could be romantically poly. Maybe if I was back in the day, but today, I could have only one.”
This isn’t the first time Zampino and Jada’s connection has been featured on the show. Zampino was on the first episode of Red Table Talk as the ladies dished on the rocky beginning of their friendship when Jada first married Will. Fortunately, both ladies came around and Zampino told Jada she’s the best bonus mom Trey could ever have.
What are your thoughts on Will, Jada and Sheree’s throuple?
