Lamar Odom’s Girlfriend Responds To Criticism He Doesn’t Date Black Or Brown Woman: He Dated Taraji [P. Henson]!

Lamar Odom’s girlfriend Sabrina Parr is defending her man on social media, especially when it comes to speculation that the former NBA star doesn’t date Black women.

Parr responded to a social media user via a photo posted by theJasmineBRAND. Responding to a photo of Lamar and Sabrina, the person wrote:

“Look at all the women he dated do they look black no. This girl is so light she doesn’t look black… She’s so light doesn’t look black to me. He doesn’t date brown women”

Parr responded with,

“he dated Taraji [P. Henson] and MANY other brown women! Just cuz you don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. All that SHOULD matter is if he’s happy or not, right?”

Sabrina’s comment comes after a manager for the couple, Zoul El Fassi,  spoke with theJasmineBRAND in an exclusive statement and shut down claims that Odom and Parr’s relationship isn’t real.

Let me first start of saying this: the only reason for that story being out there is because a former ex management person decided to put some bad press on Sabrina & Lamar. Lamar has tremendous love for the Kardashians. They have been his family since they got married and even after. Lamar had a hard life and never really felt the love of a family and home since his mother and grandmother passed away. The Kardashians gave that to him and it was real. The love between Khloe and Lamar was real. This whole conspiracy about the Kardashians putting curses on men is a made up fairytale of people that maybe couldn’t accept Lamar’s love was for Khloe. Lamar is trying to build something that is close to what he shared with Khloe. He is just trying to move on. Sabrina has had an amazing influence on him and I really welcomed her into his life. He started to fall in love with life. We need to support and respect that.

Before Parr, Odom was married to Khloe Kardashian. Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Parr reminded fans that he also dated actress Henson. He opened up about that relationship in his book Darkness to Light and said the met at a Golden Globes party.

“We ended up exchanging numbers. She was just such a wise woman that she could see through whatever smooth act I was trying to put on. She refused to be just another conquest, and truthfully, I didn’t want her to be. We started secretly dating and quickly fell in love. She introduced me to her fourteen-year-old son, Marcel, and was at my house nearly every day. Sometimes she’d bring some of her Hollywood friends, like actress Sanaa Lathan who starred in Love And Basketball. I don’t think I ever connected with another black woman as deeply as I did Taraji.”

He began dating Kardashian three months after his romance with Henson.

Still, it looks like he’s found something special with Parr.
