#DMXChallenges Starts Trending… But It’s Not What Many Think

Another day, another social media challenge. The #DMXChallenge is one of the latest crazes on social media. But it’s not what most thought it was when they clicked on the viral hashtag. While it doesn’t include DMX fans trying to imitate his unique rap sound, it does feature women showing off their different looks to DMX’s “What They Really Want,” which was released 20 years ago.

In that song, DMX unapologetically namedrops the first names of ladies he says he’s slept with. In the video, a different woman is shown for each name.

 

Now, many have taken the verse to show off their different looks to the beat of the names.
