Richard Pryor’s Son Possibly Confirms Paul Mooney ‘Violated’ Him, Comedian Denies It
A claim from Richard Pryor’s bodyguard is causing some issues! Rashon Kahn revealed that late comedian Pryor once put out a $1 million hit on Paul Mooney for “violating” his son, Richard Pryor, Jr.
Since then, both Mooney and Richard, Jr. have responded. But they both told different stories.
Richard, Jr. responded to the claims and said,
“Whatever happened in my life, it happened when I was younger, way before the 80s. How can any relationship be consensual and I was a teenager? I really have nothing to say at all about the situation.”
He also refused to speak on whether his dad hired someone to kill Mooney for $1 million.
Meanwhile, a rep for Mooney said,
“There is no validity to Rashon Kahn’s statement as it relates to Mr. Paul Mooney.”
The rep also referenced a photo of Mooney and Richard, Sr. together that was taken in 1999, pointing out that if there was an issue between the two, they certainly wouldn’t have been in a snapshot with each other. Plus, Richard, Jr. did not name Mooney as his violator in his statement (although he was asked directly about Mooney).
See the photo and Richard, Jr.’s comments here.
