Tekashi 6ix9ine snitches on rappers Cardi B and Jim Jones
Tekashi (real name Daniel Hernandez) continues to make headlines, as he is naming well-known persons who are allegedly Bloods during the third day of testimony. Today (Sept. 19th), the 23-year-old jailed rapper stated that rappers Jim Jones and Cardi B are in the gang. A rep for Cardi has denied these claims stating
“This is not true.”

As prosecutors were about to play a recording of a phone conversation, 6ix9ine was asked to identify the voices on it.
He said one of them belonged to Jim Jones, whom he called a “retired rapper” and said was a member of the gang.
In the wiretapped phone call on Nov. 17, Jones and Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones discuss their anger at Tekashi’s comments denouncing the Bloods comments during a radio interview on Power 105. Jamel Jones says Tekashi should be
“super violated. Super duper.”
Jones stated,
“Tell that n—-r He not a gang member no more. He kicked out the whip. He was never a gang member…They going to have to violate shorty because shorty is on some bull–it”
He also noted that Casanova, was a Blood in a rival crew. While discussing Casanova, he described a gun battle between the Nine Treys and Casanova’s crew at the Barclays Center in April 2018. Tekashi stated that he cut a deal with prosecutors the day after his arrest, agreeing to testify against his former confidantes in exchange for avoiding a 47-year prison sentence.
He is currently being housed in a federal facility for his own safety and has been escorted into the courthouse through a secure tunnel, flanked by US Marshals. Prosecutors have previously suggested that he could be moved into witness protection after his testimony.
