Nick Cannon Gets His Own Daytime Talk Show

Nick Cannon to Host His Own Daytime Talk Show in 2020
Nick Cannon is having an Ncredible year! Nick has been dominating our TV screens since his “All That” stint in 1998. He has since hosted the likes of “America’s Got Talent,” “The Masked Singer,” and just signed on to three more seasons of his hilarious MTV sketch show, “Wild’N Out.”
Well, Nick is taking on a new challenge as the host of his very own daytime talk show. Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury production company was so impressed with the way he filled in for Wendy Williams during her hiatus that they offered him his own slot. The company’s presidents, Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, offered this statement on Nick Cannon’s show:
“We are excited to be able to announce this collaboration with Nick, who has proven himself to be such a dominant creative and entrepreneurial force across film, primetime TV, music, comedy, stage and online platforms. The daytime audience got to see that firsthand earlier this year with his stellar performance guest hosting The Wendy Williams Show. Now we can’t wait to see Nick put his own unique stamp on talk and add daytime to his impressive list of accomplishments.”

The multi-talented star just embarked on a radio journey as the host of his morning show, “Nick Cannon Mornings,” – but says that hosting a talk show has always been a dream of his:
“After leaving America’s Got Talent, I wanted to focus on developing my own talk show. I’ve always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone’s minds. When I had the opportunity to guest host at my good friend Wendy Williams’ show this year, I experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and instantly knew I found my audience.”
Nick Cannon’s talk show will premiere in 2020.
