Nick Cannon Can Never Be With Just 1 Woman Again & Won’t Marry Again

Multi-talented Nick Cannon has some pretty strong views on love and relationships considering his experience with several high-profile women over the years. He appeared as a guest on rapper T.I.‘s podcast, “ExpediTIously,” spilling on being eternally single, and why he’ll never get married again – unless it’s with his famous ex-wife!

Nick says that relationships are only made to benefit women:

“I believe relationships – and, mainly, marriage – is designed to please women. Just because they get the dress, they get the ring- all of that stuff. All their life they’re talking about getting the husband. We just show up! Even in my wedding I was a part!”

He says his battle with Lupus led him to realize he doesn’t want to be responsible for someone else’s happiness:

“I don’t wanna be responsible for nobody else’s happiness. Like, I’m still trying to figure out my sh*t. I’m still trying to get my sh*t together. And – I ain’t gon’ get to deep into this sh*t – but the fact that I have a condition…stress puts me in the hospital…and to me, all relationships equal stress. I ain’t never been in a relationship that wasn’t stressful!”

Nick Cannon may not be a one-woman man, but he’s not a multiple-women man either!

“I respect a polyamorous situation, but me personally- that’s too much of a construct with too many rules in it. I don’t wanna answer to nobody! I don’t want 5 or 6- I wanna be by my godd*mn self!”

The “Wild N’ Out” star says he isn’t interested in walking down the aisle again:

“I think I’ll never be able to be with just one woman again. Like, that’s gon’ be tough for me. I did it in marriage! I was very faithful in my marriage…the whole time I was married. And the reason why we split up- it had nothing to do with infidelity or nothing like that. But I knew I would never get married again. Once I stepped away from that, I knew that construct is not designed for me. So I gave it my all, and even before that I was like, ‘I don’t believe in marriage.’ But, sh*t- it was Mariah Carey! Whatever she say, I’m with it!”

If he did tie the knot again, it would be with his ex, Mariah Carey!

“If I were to do it again – it would be to her [Mariah Carey]!”

Lastly, Nick Cannon revealed that he believes he and Mariah manifested everything that happened in their relationship – down to their twins, Monroe and Morrocan:

“The crazy thing [is], we spoke so many things into existence. Like the first time we kicked it for a weekend, and we was talking about everything like, ‘How crazy would it be if we had a boy and a girl and blah blah and this?’ And even if it didn’t work out, we could still be friends. We almost – to the T – talked it out. And it played out that way. “
