Shaquille O’Neal & NBA’s Damian Lillard Release Diss Tracks After Lillard Insists ‘I Rap Better Than Shaq’ [VIDEO]
NBA star Damian Lillard (aka Dame D.O.L.L.A.) and NBA vet Shaquille O’Neal are going head to head in one of the most bizarre rap feuds to date.
It started when Lillard, who is the point guard for the Portland Trail Blazers, was promoting his third album, Big D.O.L.L.A., that was released last month.
When asked if he thought he was a better rapper than O’Neal, who had his own successful music career in the 90s, Lillard said,
“I think I rap better than Shaq. I’ve heard Shaq’s stuff. I think he was viewed as Shaq, though. People was like, this Shaq. It wasn’t like, Shaq and Biggie. People weren’t looking like this a real rapper. It was like, ‘That’s Shaq rapping.’ So, of course, it was a big deal.”

O’Neal then responded and let Lillard know he still had skills with a diss track he posted to Instagram. He rapped in part,
“Legendary I’m a hip hop scholar, I’m tryin’ to get a billion who gives a f**k about a D.O.L.L.A. Take ya time to respond, there’s no hurry, You’ll never be Westbrook, never be Steph Curry”
And Lillard certainly didn’t take his time, nor did he hold back in his response, “Reign Reign Go Away.” He came for Shaq’s shoe line with ADIDAS, and even Shaq’s NBA rings.
