Suge Knight Docu Being Developed, Tupac Shakur Project On The Way & Death Row May Return + Suge Gives Life Right’s To Ray J
Suge Knight is staying busy in jail!
According to new reports, a documentary is in the works about Suge, who’s currently serving a 28-year sentence after pleading no contest to voluntary manslaughter in a fatal hit-and-run. He’s already been credited for time served and could be released in a little more than 10 years thanks to prison overcrowding.
Suge’s documentary will cover the rise and fall of his label, Death Row Records, which is reportedly gearing up for a comeback. Plus, a project on late Death Row rapper Tupac Shakur is also allegedly happening.
Meanwhile, Suge has entrusted his life rights to none other than Ray J. The two have been close for decades and Suge is said to be a fan of Ray’s moneymaking state of mind. He will reportedly depend on Ray to choose the best film, TV, book deals and other projects relating to all things Suge. He’s also turning to Ray for help with Death Row’s comeback as he’ll need tons of investors to actually make it happen.
And Ray could be the best person. Just this past August he signed a $1 million deal when he invested in the marijuana industry. And let’s not forget his wireless headphones and scooter businesses.
The news of Death Row’s return comes just after its parent company, Entertainment One, was purchased by Hasbro in a $4 billion deal. Hasbro is the same company that owns brands like Monopoly, My Little Pony, and Mr. Potato Head.
