Cardi B Responds To Being The Most Streamed Female Rapper On U.S. Spotify This Year: It’s Crazy!
Cardi B seemed pretty shocked that she earned the title of Most Streamed Female Rapper on Spotify in 2019.
And she’s already getting ready for 2020.
“Thankful and grateful! It’s crazy cause this year I ain’t put out too much music and didn’t record much. Gearing up for the new year and cooking some good s*** for y’all for 2020. Hopefully ya love it. Thanks for your support. I love ya. I’m nOthing out ya. actually I am. Imma MOTHA!

When it comes to overall female artists, she’s number 5 after Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Halsey.

Her song “Money” is number 9 on Apple’s Top Streamed Female songs of the year, after being released in October 2018. Other songs on the list are Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next”, which is #1 and Lizzo’s hit “Truth Hurts,” which is #6.
She previously spoke on her stance in Hip Hop and said,
“I didn’t say I pave the way for female rappers but I deff gave the hood and women hope.Nikkas wasn’t collabing with females rappers.Labels where signing female rappers and putting them in a shelf and not focusing on them. Not giving them proper attention…It seem like it was impossible for it to be more then one female rapper. These male rappers where not even takin Money from female rappers for a feature cause it seem far fetch for another woman to make it.I see so many male artists collabing wit females now even ..”
