Diddy Canceled His 50th Birthday Party Two Times: I Couldn’t See Myself Partying Without Kim Porter

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ epic 50th birthday party almost didn’t happen. Over the weekend, the media mogul celebrated his belated birthday with a festive bash at his Beverly Hills mansion.

Celebrity guests included Beyonce and Jay Z, Mary J. Blige, Naomi Campbell, Cardi B and more. However, the celebratory party almost didn’t happen. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs says speaking about Kim Porter,

I canceled the party two times because I just couldn’t see myself partying for my 50th birthday without her.

His Kim Porter, died suddenly of pneumonia on Nov. 15, 2018. The pair dated on and off for 10 years and shared children including son Christian, 21, and twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James, 13. Diddy also considers her son Quincy, as his son. Quincy’s biological father is Al B. Sure.

Diddy says that on his birthday “I wasn’t feeling it,” and he had a quiet dinner.

“I didn’t want to be fake. I wanted to be at a point of strength.”

He later decided to reschedule the party for what would have been Kim Porter’s 49th birthday weekend.

“I thought, ‘I can have a party with Kim and we can party together’. It worked out beautifully.”

Nonetheless, #Diddy50 appeared to be a night of friends, fashion, and all-around good vibes. Diddy, later, shared this comment on his birthday party with Instagram followers:
