Ja Rule Lashes Out Over Constant Fyre Accusations & Criticism: It Be Your Own People, I Swear!
Ja Rule has had enough of the backlash over the Fyre ordeal.
The rapper was caught up in one of the biggest scandals in the music festival industry last year. Ja Rule co-founded the Fyre festival with Billy McFarland, but they were hit with costly lawsuits after the music series didn’t live up to the hype.

Ja Rule was cleared of the fraud claims, but Billy McFarland was sentenced to six years. While he’s not serving jail time, Ja Rule was said to be guilty in the court of public opinion, and now he’s coming for his critics.
He tweeted Saturday (Jan. 4),
“All of y’all that won’t let the Fyre s— go I have one question… if I was the one who was doing 6 years in prison for fraud and Billy was CLEARED of ANY WRONGDOING would y’all be saying the white guy is guilty still??? I highly doubt it… it be your own ppl I swear!!!”

Interestingly enough, many of the people replied to the tweet and answered Ja Rule’s question.
