Victor Cruz Tapped As Third Co-Host Of E!’s ‘Pop Of The Morning’

We’re about to see a lot more of Victor Cruz!

The former NFL star has landed a gig as co-host of the 11 a.m. Pop of the Morning show on E!

He’ll be joining Lilliana Vazquez and Scott Tweedie. 

He told his new co-hosts Monday,

“Thanks for having me. I’m excited to be with you two lovely people. I’m excited to talk to the people about what’s going on in the world. Pop of the Morning: have your brunch now with us.”

It looks like the trio is already getting comfortable as they sat down with Shaquille O’Neal for the first episode.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager of NBC’s ” Today with Hoda & Jenna” also welcomed them to the morning show family.

He also gushed about his girlfriend Karrueche Tran on the show.

“We’ve been together two years now and it’s just been great. I mean, she’s phenomenal. We have a blast together. She cheats at Uno, which is a whole different thing… We’re playing Uno and she just decides that she’s gonna cheat. And I’m like ‘I’m sitting right here… What are you doing?'”

Victor Cruz announced his retirement from the league in 2018.

He said,

“The game of football has just given me so much. My journey hasn’t been the easiest; it’s definitely had some ups and downs, and some rough patches.

“This last chapter of my life was a great one. To win a Super Bowl, to play in a Pro Bowl and to have my daughter born throughout all of this as well.”

After that, he was an analyst for ESPN.

He and Karrueche Tran have also taken over the fashion world.
