Clive Davis “Very Disappointed” In Past Whitney Houston Docu, Working On New Biopic
A new Whitney Houston biopic may be on the way. In a recent interview, Clive Davis expressed his interest in bringing the late singer’s story to the big screen.
The legendary music executive is credited by some for discovering Whitney Houston. He signed her in In 1983 to Arista’s head Clive Davis to make time to see Houston perform.
In a recent interview, Clive Davis (who is the CEO of Sony Music) said that he was “very disappointed” in the two recent documentaries that came out about Whitney Houston.
“Whitney” came out in 2018, while “Whitney: Can I Be Me” was released in 2017.
Clive Davis says,
“the story of Whitney Houston has not been told yet.”
He also adds that he is “looking forward to putting together” a biopic with a
“great writer and a great director.”
