Cassie’s Husband Says His Dad Was ‘Pronounced Dead’: He Is Now Fully Recovered & Got To Hold His Granddaughter

Cassie and her husband Alex Fine’s family experienced a modern-day miracle recently.

Alex Fine revealed on Instagram that his father, Ross Fine, was recently pronounced dead. Fortunately, he was able to fight his way back to life and was able to meet his new granddaughter, Frankie, who the singer and Alex Fine welcomed last month.

Alex Fine wrote,

“A little over a month ago my Dad was pronounced dead at the hospital, then they told us if he ever woke up his brain function would be close to 0. He is now fully recovered and got to hold his granddaughter for the first time this week.”

He ended with a sentimental message and reminded his fans and followers,

“Time and life is so fragile and you never know when your clock will hit double zeros. I am beyond blessed to have them in my life and the most amazing mother to my daughter. At the end we’re all “Just Visiting” and our time here should be making it better with love and dedication to family and work. “

He also gave a nod to the late Kobe Bryant, who died, along with his daughter and seven other passengers, in a tragic helicopter crash Sunday (Jan. 26).
